Injury rehabilitation focus
Travers has been involved in sports for most of his life, particularly playing cricket and this has helped him to realise his passion for staying fit and active. After injuring his back he discovered that Pilates was helpful in accelerating his recovery and now is able to stay active, play cricket and do everyday duties.
Travers made the career change to the Health and Fitness Industry in 2010 and have since worked as both a Pilates Instructor through the Australian Pilates Method Association and a Personal Trainer.
Having endured back pain himself, Travers’ has a strong knowledge and understanding of injuries and how they can affect ones life. Travers’s experience in the Industry helps him to create and provide specific Pilates programs for anyone, whether it be to rehabilitate an existing injury or simply to reach ones fitness goals.
Travers wants to help local people to ensure their bodies remain both mobile and strong. Pilates will provide you with a healthy component to your lifestyle and leave you feeling fit and healthy both physically and mentally.
